Aran View House Hotel

Aran View House is a wonderful Georgian Hotel with Self Catering Apartments, set in the magnificent wilderness of the Burren, Co Clare, on Irelands ' West Coast. Expect nothing less than magnificent and breathtaking views of the Aran Islands to the west, Doolin Pier and the Cliffs of Moher to the south, the gray limestone rocks of the Burren to the north and the wild Irish coastline; all of which can be experienced from their outstanding bedrooms. The original house was built around 1736 and has been in the Linnane family for many generations.

While it retains much of the atmosphere of that era, the house has been totally refurbished in the Irish County house style. On 100 acres of farmland, the house is decorated with lovely antique touches, such as four-poster beds and Georgian reproduction furniture. You can savor the view from the restaurant's bay windows while enjoying the Continental cuisine, regency chairs and dusky pink napery. The peace and charm of Aran View is echoed in the spaciousness and comfort of tasteful surroundings. It is on the coast road in the Fanore direction, about a 10-minute walk from Doolin village.
