All Guestrooms Feature:

The Doubletree lobby offers 24 hour service and complimentary wireless Internet access is available in all public areas. The Sussex and Diplomat restaurants serve Irish specialities and international dishes in a relaxed setting. Unwind in one of our two bars – Bellini’s Bar or the Resident’s Bar.

The Sussex Restaurant:

The Sussex Restaurant, at The Burlington Hotel in Dublin, has long been established as the first in fine-dining for both guests and local residents.
Amidst an Art Nouveau Cafe Paris-type ambience, the restaurant echoes an era of times past – where smiling, friendly waiters tend to your every request – the bright, glass recesses in the walls allowing for ample natural light during the day and setting a chattering, romantic scene by night. A special Breakfast is served in the Sussex Restaurant – a vast, delicious buffet including cereals, mueslis, yoghurts, fresh fruits, meats, delicate pastries, warm breads and a variation of cooked breakfasts including a “Full Irish” with fresh coffee and a wide selection of teas. Lunch and Dinner is also served in the Sussex Restaurant from varied menus using the best of fresh, local produce – complemented by a meticulously selected wine list.

B Bar:

Enjoy the chic and contemporary atmosphere of B Bar, one of Dublin’s most popular venues for a pre-dinner chilled aperitif, a zingy cocktail or a cool drink. B Bar has been given a thoroughly modern make over to create a cosmopolitan environment for guests and locals alike.

Dublin City

On the Map: Dublin, Ireland’s Capital City is located on the east coast of the country, and is well served by infrastructure linking it to all parts of the Emerald Isle.

Dublin is a lively cosmopolitan city brimming with culture. You could spend your time strolling the streets soaking up the atmosphere, relaxing in its cafes and bars or you could check out its myriad historical, literary and cultural delights. The 8th century illuminated manuscript, the Book of Kells, must be viewed. It is on display at the impressive Trinity College, Ireland’s first university (founded 1592) in the heart of Dublin. For the rest of your time, it is up to you how much you want to pack in. Phoenix Park, twice the size of New York City’s Central Park, Georgian Dublin around Stephen’s Green, the National Botanical Gardens, National Museum, Kilmainham Jail and the Hugh Lane Municipal Art Gallery are all highly recommended stops on your tour. Then there’s the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery. A visit to Dublin’s Temple Bar to experience the lively Dublin pub culture is a must, though many of Dublin’s best bars can be found outside this area in the streets and laneways around Grafton Street, the shopper’s street of choice. Purchasing a ‘hop-on, hop-off’ Dublin Bus Tour ticket is a great way to get around and see all the major sites at a very reasonable cost.
