Established in 2001, the Radisson Blu Hotel Galway & Spa is situated on Lough Atalia Road just a three minute walk from the famous Eyre Square. The hotel has 282 ensuite guest rooms including standard rooms, family rooms, Penthouse suites, Level 5 executive suites and serviced apartments. All rooms are non-smoking and also available are rooms designed for guests with special needs. The 6ft 6 bed is the primary focus of each room – it is enhanced by an extra large headboard that incorporates a bedside light and reader’s lamp, while the bed’s mink coloured fur throw is set on white linen, creating a sense of warmth and luxury. The bed quality and comfort is brought to another level with pocket spring mattresses, luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases, plus oversized, 70% goose down, hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows.
The use of walnut and black granite in the room gives a further depth and quality to the finish. The bespoke furniture, designed specifically for the new rooms, has been created to be both functional and stylish. Guests can avail of the hotels complimentary high speed and wireless (WiFi) internet access, as well as dial-up connections with an ISDN or analog modem.
Family Rooms
Family Rooms are modern, luxurious with comfortable interiors perfect for a family break. All rooms are non-smoking and can sleep four in its double bed and two single beds.
