If the guest’s introduction to the g hotel Galway is through its wildly Luxury accommodation, the guestrooms are havens of intimacy and sensuality.

Each guestroom has the distinctive Philip Treacy touch, evident in the detail as well as in the overall effect – which is one of stylish originality and supreme comfort.

Philip’s choices – from the wallpaper, lighting and artwork to the furniture and flooring – have been inspired by the landscapes and seashores of County Galway.  The colours, textures and materials used reflect this heritage and tradition, but are also effortlessly contemporary.

The g hotel offers a total of 101 guestrooms including 3 speciality suites - the Evangelista suite, the Corner suite, the Atrium suite, 16 Luxury suites and 10 Junior suites. The remaining rooms are either of a superior or deluxe standard.

Whichever room or suite is chosen, guests will enjoy sensational bathrooms, many with showers built for two, and cutting-edge in-room entertainment. Above all, it is the thoughtful unpretentious service – including a team of dedicated Butlers – that will make each guest’s stay at the hotel a truly red carpet experience.

Tour Description

Matz at the g, offers a contemporary Irish menu with a European Influence. The g’s distinctive approach to design is carried through to the restaurant, with banquettes in purple velvet and jewel-coloured Andrew Martin chairs.

Espa Spa at the g Hotel

World leaders in Spa design and product, ESPA has developed the total concept and design of this five star ESPA at the g, working closely with architects and designers Douglas Wallace.

ESPA at the g's design reflects a relaxed timelessness of contemporary elegance. In keeping with the overall design philosophy developed by Philip Treacy, nothing has been spared in its beautiful design and the superior quality of its finishes. Stone, wood, linen and glass are used in complementary new ways with subtle, warm colours. Mood enhancing lighting is used to calm and comfort, creating a sense of spiritual retreat.

Guests are invited to re-connect with their senses through the gentle sounds of music and water, the fragrance of fresh flowers and scented candles, the grounding element of wood flooring, the patterns and textures of rich materials and the taste of a warming tisane.

An extensive treatment list will be available for both hotel residents and day visitors, using ESPA’s fantastic products. Alternatively, guests may simply reserve time to relax in ESPA at the g's luxurious environment.

ESPA at the g is located on the upper two floors of the hotel and includes a ‘secret’ bamboo garden on the roof. It also has heat treatment rooms, a vitality pool and a glass pavilion.
