Limepark Cottages

The stone cottages are unique and offer 4/5 star accommodation. They have been sensitively restored, using the same materials and techniques as used when they were originally built 300 years ago as farm buildings, and remain a site of historical interest. They combine both traditional character and modern day comforts. The kitchens are fully fitted with a microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, saucepans with a steamer, dishes, cafetiere, cutlery etc. The under floor heating and hot water on 24 hours per day and you may control it thermostatically in your cottage.  Bed linen and towels are included in the tariff. Other extras include a radio/alarm clock, a hair dryer, CD player, television/DVD player and we have a laundry room available for all our guests. We have internet access in all our cottages. Our cottages together can accommodate a total of 20 guests. You can view each of the cottages by following the link to the left. The Little Pig's House
Our studio cottage "The Little Pig's House" is a very quaint but small cottage ideal for a couple or a single person looking for a quiet retreat. There is a settle bed (4ft 6in by 6ft 3in) in the corner of the living room as was the tradition in early Ireland. It has a super walk-in shower enhanced with stained glass windows and it shares a courtyard with The Long Barn. It has a lovely view over the moors.

Ned's Loft' is a lovely romantic one bedroomed cottage. The bedroom and large bathroom (with a double ended cast iron roll top bath and separate shower) are separated by a minstrels gallery with a dining area which overlooks the panelled living area with its ecclesiastic window and kitchen downstairs. We offer at your request either a king size double or twin beds in the cottage bedroom. It is possible to have an additional bedroom in this cottage.

The Blacksmith's Cottage
Climb the old stone staircase, of the 'Blacksmith's Cottage to find the spacious living room with its open fireplace. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are on the ground floor with access to the croquet lawn. We offer at your request either a king size double or twin beds in the cottage bedroom.

The Long Barn
The 'Long Barn' is a very popular cottage. It has two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a fireplace upstairs. This cottage has an enclosed courtyard at the rear which it shares with the Little Pig's House and a small private courtyard at the front. We offer at your request either a king size double or twin beds in the cottage bedrooms.

The Poet's Corner
Poet's Corner' is a spacious two bedroom cottage. It has an en suite shower and a separate bathroom. This cottage is all on one level and is suitable for guests with restricted mobility. The living area has an open fire. We offer at your request either a king size double or twin beds in the cottage bedrooms. Additional facilities are a washing machine/tumble dryer and a local pay-as-you-go mobile phone.

Dark Horse House' has three bedrooms and a spacious open plan kitchen, living, dining area which has a fireplace. One of the bedrooms has an en suite shower room and the bathroom has a free standing double ended bath and separate shower. This cottage has it's own private courtyard at the rear. We offer at your request either a king size double or twin beds in the cottage bedrooms.  Additional facilities are a washing machine/tumble dryer and a local pay-as-you-go mobile phone.
