Cycling Tour Itinerary
Sat The tour starts in Wexford town where you meet the guide and the rest of the group at the usual time of 6.30pm . That night we take a coach transfer down to the fishing village of Kilmore Quay for the evening.
Sun We start the cycle by heading through rolling green fields to the sight of an early Normans settlement. After lunch we visit Irelands largest medieval ruined settlement and then continue along Bannow Bay to visit Tintern Abbey. After this we cycle across Loop Head to the coastal village of Arthurstown where we spend the night .
Mon The day begins with a ferry across Passage East and on along the beautiful southern coastline to the Irish speaking village of Ring .
Tues We continue on along the coast to the seaside village of Youghal for lunch and on in the afternoon following the River Blackwater to the historic town of Lismore where we are staying for two nights.
Wed We will be staying in a comfortable hotel in the centre of Lismore where you can relax for the day or else spend the time visiting some of the many historic sites in the area.
Thurs We head north over the stunning Knockmealdown Mountains into the county of Tipperary and to the Glen of Aherlow, ancestral home of these Ryans!
Fri Our last day we cycle past the famous Rock of Cashel on our way to the historic city of Kilkenny where we spend the last night together.
Sat After breakfast you can stay absorbing the atmosphere of Kilkenny or else head on your way home. There are train connections from Kilkenny back to Dublin and Wexford/Rosslare.

About our Cycling Tours

On all of our Cycling Tours we take care of all accommodation and bicycles, we provide a local guide, as well as all the cycling equipment you need - and best of all, we carry your luggage for you - taking away all of the hassles, but none of the adventure of your holiday.

On our group cycling holidays we bring together a group of people from all over the world. Our daily cycle is a leisurely 30 - 40 miles which we find gives plenty of time to stop and explore your surroundings. Longer options are available for those who want to stretch their legs.

Our Antrim, Donegal and Kerry safaris are hillier than the other routes but happily there are no large mountain ranges to cross in any part of Ireland.

We take up to 20 people on each tour and many come on their own. A great group spirit develops as people swap stories over dinner at the end of the day.

Although the guide will not be cycling with you, he or she will be driving the support van and shall make a sweep to ensure that all is well and offer lifts to those who want a break. This provides a sense of freedom in that you can travel at your own pace in the security that our guide is there for you in the event that you might need them.

All our group bike tours start on a Saturday.
