Moreexcellent seafood at this relaxing place. The seafood platters arelocally famous. Good value three course pre 6.30 special available.
Lord Baker’s Restaurant & Bar
Decentpub grub in the bar, more civilized dining in the rear restaurant.Great spot for Sunday lunch, but very popular so book in advance.

Inspiredby the Oratory, this restaurant housed in a stone-roofed buildingserves both lunch and dinner in unique intimate surroundings. Next timeI’m in the area the Stone House is top of my list. An Italian couple wemet claimed it was possibly the best restaurant they ever had thepleasure of dining in.
Gorman’s Clifftop House & Restaurant, An Feothanach, near Smerwick Harbour
Superbsea views with spectacular sunsets make this an idyllic dining spot.There is also a very comfortable and homely guesthouse attached.
The Old Pier, Ballydavid
Overlookingthe Atlantic Ocean and Blasket Islands, this place is deservedlypopular for serving good food at reasonable prices with a greatatmosphere to boot. B&B attached.
The Phoenix (7km west of Castlemaine on the R561 coastal road to Dingle
Anunusual yet charming restaurant with rambling gardens and indoor andoutdoor dining options. Emphasis is on organic foods much of it fromtheir own garden. The Phoenix also offers B&B and hostelaccommodation, chalet and gypsy caravan rental!

Foundedby Tom Crean upon his retirement from Antarctic adventures withShackleton and Scott, this congenial spot is hung with polarmemorabilia, serves decent food, hosts set dancing on Tuesdays and livemusic at the weekends. Well worth a look.
Spillanes, Castlegregory
Greatfood in this busy traditional pub in Fahamore at the tip of theMaharees Peninsula north of Castlegregory. Just the spot after a daysurfing.
Ned Natterjack’s, Castlegregory
Also popular with surfers, Ned’s serves bar food all day, has a beer garden and regular live music.
Kruger’s Pub, Dunquin
Mighty place to enjoy a cold one on a hot day. Trad session on Sundays, more frequently during the summer.
Tigh an tSaorsaigh, Ballyferriter
Friendly flagstoned pub with a piano and weekend trad sessions.
Tig Bhric, Riasc (on R559, one mile from Ballyferriter)
Delightfulpub, B&B and shop - though not necessarily in that order - whichserves great soup and sandwiches during the day and dinner in theevenings, except Fridays when a traditional music session takesprecedence.

Cosy during the winter, rather splendid in the summer. Just like the whole of the Dingle Peninsula really.
