Glasgow is Scotland’s Party Girl

"There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign."

- Robert Louis Stevenson

Glasgow has a dynamic and gregarious personality.

It’s the cutting-edge center for cuisine, art, shopping, entertainment and terrific nightlife with working-class warmth.  Its Gothic history is steeped in legend, and its present is vibrant.  Magnificent buildings are scattered across the city, and collectors have created extraordinary collections of art from the silly to the classically sublime.  You can ramble along the mighty River Clyde, enjoy the city’s gardens and greenhouses, or dig into the Barras marketplace and scout for exotic bargains.

If you’re up for a countryside break, Glasgow is within an hour of Loch Ness and the soft Highland hills.  But you may choose to stay right where you are.  Romantic Glasgow and her friendly people are to be enjoyed full-blast!
