Kirsty was born and raised in County Clare, and having travelled Ireland many times over, has a fantastic, in-depth knowledge of our country. Kirsty also enjoys travelling abroad whenever the opportunity presents itself, and like many Irish tourists, tends to head for sun-spots like Tunisia & Spain. Kirsty’s Favorite Place in Ireland - Cork City:

‘In 2005, Cork City was voted the European City of Culture, a plaudit the city certainly deserved. Cork is very diverse and there’s so much to do in ‘Ireland’s Southern Capital’. The markets in Cork are fantastic, and haggling with the local traders is all part of the fun! The Ogham Stones at Cork University are impressive, and the mediaeval fishing village of Kinsale, famous for its food, narrow little streets and beautiful buildings is only 20 minutes away.’

Kirsty’s Top Tip for Visitors to Ireland:

‘Don’t panic about driving on the other side of the road! Yes, it is a little strange at first, but the best advice I can give is to relax, take it slow, and before you know it you wont even realise that you are on the ‘wrong’ side of the road anymore!’
