WOW is all I can say!!! Sarah hit exactly what we were looking for on the mark!!! Chris and I were on our Honeymoon, didn't want to move around the entire time but not be too far away from anything that it would eat up our day. And my gosh she did it!!! Not to mention the millions of questions I had for her the entire year I was planning this. Ireland is a country that we would visit again and again. We have been to Ireland 4 times in 3 years and once made the mistake of not using Authentic Ireland to book our trip. It was the worse trip we had with the hotels, rental cars and available towns to visit. I am so happy with all your help and advice you have given us on every trip you helped us plan. This time was just as memorable as the first time we went to Ireland. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service you provided us and your suggestions have always been spot on perfect! We will never make a trip to Ireland without your assistance. Our hotels were magnificent and the service was fabulous. The Killarney Park Hotel was exceptional! It was nice to be welcomed back to the Davenport in Dublin and seeing all the familiar faces and Vanessa at Thrifty car rental remembered us by name and made sure we had everything we needed and that our car met our expectations. For those who enjoy scenic and cultural tours tailored to your needs - we heartily recommend Authentic Ireland. Our consultant Aisling planned a wonderful two week trip that included Dublin, Wicklow Mountains, Kilkenny, Killarney, Dingle, Doolin, and Galway. Some of our group travelled on to Scotland, which was also an excellent experience. The beauty of this trip was that all the travel details, vouchers for hotels and transportation were organized through Authentic Ireland. Aisling was very prompt and helpful with phone calls and emails. Every night the group was thrilled with accommodations. The breakfasts were top-notch. We were with the Wilson group and everyone agreed that the trip was OUTSTANDING. I have travelled all over Europe from youth hostels to 5 star hotels over the years. Nothing...absolutely nothing compares to this trip. There were no worries as all details were attended to. All accommodations were excellent and located so that we had the freedom to roam without a vehicle. I would be happy if there was an ‘Authentic’ travel agency in every country!

I think the itinerary was perfect - the two places we loved the most were Kinsale and Dingle. The Dingle Peninsula is one of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen in my life. The town itself is amazing - I spun in circles sometimes realizing there was no bad view wherever I looked.

All accommodations were excellent. From the towel warmers to the superb breakfasts, we couldn't have asked for anything better. We just got back from the most wonderful and magical vacation to Ireland for 12 days to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. They commented on the professionalism and friendliness of your staff and the speed at which they solve any problems that may arise. Great advice (from my travel advisor). Rebecca really paid attention to the list of places I wanted to see when she suggested an itinerary. Each place/region is as unique as advertised. Favorite town: Dublin. Loved the energy and atmosphere. You'd never run out of things to do or see. The Connemara region took my breath away. It felt like home although it's nothing like where I come from. I received all the documentation and information well ahead of time and was able to read through it, ask some questions and be prepared for our trip. I would recommend a driver to anyone who is traveling to Ireland for the first time. There was no stress, and the driver made our vacation just that much more enjoyable. Wow! What a great trip we had. Everything from start to finish was so smooth. This was our first time out of the country. The B&B's were the best and the villages you sent us to were wonderful to be in. When we were walking through some forest trails I half way expected to see Fairies and Unicorns flitting about--very enchanting. I have also connected with one of the local musicians while in Bunratty at Durty Nelly's and he and I have e-mailed each other since. Thanx again for all of your help with our trip!

WOW!! Everyday I found myself saying (on multiple occasions), "Oh my God, this is the most beautiful place I've ever seen!"; and every night I heard my husband say, "Oh my God, this is the best Guinness I've ever had!" I watched my husband find absolute peace as he stood on the rocks near Doolin pier and watched the waves roll in. So many cute towns and friendly people--I thought 10 days was a good amount of time to see and explore the areas we chose, but the more we saw, the more we wanted to see!
Our agent, Christina, handled all the details of our trip very efficiently, because we had no problems with reservations with accommodations or rental car--all the paperwork was in order- they were expecting us, and vouchers worked great!

Irish Pub & Music Tour – September 2010
Whenever I had a question, I received a prompt response and my concerns were well-handled. Dublin was fascinating. We happened to be in Kilkenny on the day of the All-Ireland Hurling Final and were stuck by the pleasant good-nature of the fans despite the fact that their team lost. Killarney was great fun and the Ring of Kerryand Cliffs of Moher were spectacular. Newgrange was amazing but, I truly loved the Aran Islands. While in Doolin, we took the opportunity to visit Inisheer and found it to be one of the most beautiful and interesting places I have ever visited. On my next trip, I plan on visiting Inishmore overnight.

We really enjoyed our trip. Our travel companions were very happy as well. I intend to go back. Accommodations were great, but we liked Greenmount House the best because of value and location. Dingle was wonderful, as was the Burren. My friend Mark and I were able to meet up with a Fly fishing guide out of Cloghane on Dingle and I caught a Sea Trout (Brown Trout) on An Loch Geal. Our night at Dromoland Castle was great as well. Driving on our own was a little scary but we were glad we did it that way. The train trip was a nice intro to the sites out in the country after the urban environment in Dublin. Thank you very much.

Was it the luck of the Irish or Miriam's impeccable planning? The itinerary took us through beautiful landscapes and charming towns. The variety of our wonderful accommodations made each night memorable. But the one thing that really made our trip was our driver, Kevin Bourke. He went way above and beyond to make every moment perfect and loads of fun. We enjoyed our trip on our schedule; we never felt rushed. Kevin got to know us and led the way to the places that he knew we'd enjoy. We didn't have to worry about any of the details; Kevin had a plan for each day with options galore. He had first hand knowledge about the shopping, restaurants, pubs and led us to fabulous out of the way places with the most lovely scenery. He charmed us with Irish legends and educated us with Irish history. His wit and sense of fun and adventure kept us laughing and enjoying every aspect of Ireland. We felt like he was one of our family. The only difficult part of our trip was saying goodbye; we hope to return again.

Miriam was wonderful. We could not have asked for a better trip to Ireland! Everything went flawlessly, from the time we arrived in Dublin, to picking up our car rental, to returning to the States. At each B&B we kept saying to each other, "could this get any better?? "Miriam gave us suggestions for stop-offs while en route between cities, pubs to visit and the biggest places of interest in each town. My husband and I both agreed this was better than our honeymoon and that is saying a lot. What an adventure!
I have already recommended Authentic Ireland to friends and family and I would use Miriam again on my next trip to Ireland.

I never felt so secure on a tour as I did with Authentic Ireland, And thank you, too to Sarah.she was great to help us with leaving Ireland as well as we could.I enjoyed working with your company and staff because you were very mindful of the places we really wanted to see and worked with us to avoid some of the very touristy places (although my travelling companion really felt she had to kiss the Blarney Stone). Martin (our driver/guide) went out of his way to explain everything we needed to get us to our desired destinations, get in on guided tours, see some places and meet some lovely people I feel most other tourists never see. He was always congenial and pleasant, though sometimes I'm sure he must have been bone tired. He is a valuable asset to the success of the trip.
You can be sure I will recommend Authentic Ireland to anyone who plans to visit Ireland.
