There is no doubt that Ireland is a Golfer’s paradise. There are over 400 golf courses dotted around the country, often in gorgeous scenic locations and the friendly Irish clubhouse welcome is renowned worldwide.  

Ireland is particular famous for its links courses. They are the reason most golfers make the pilgrimage. Some courses are legendary – Royal County Down, Royal Portrush, Ballybunion, Tralee, Waterville, Portmarnock and Lahinch. Others are merely great – Doonbeg, Dooks, the European Club, the Palmer course at the K-Club. Then there’s the truly spectacular: Old Head in Kinsale. It’s enough to make any golfer weep tears of joy!
