Day 2 Dublin City Tour & Kilmainham Gaol
Arrive in Dublin Airport, complete immigration formalities and pick up your luggage. Go to the CIE Tours desk in the Arrivals Hall to arrange a group transfer to your hotel between 7:00 am and 12:00 noon. If your flight arrives later, you will need to transfer to the hotel at your own expense. Your hotel is superbly located near Trinity College and Merrion Square, the most famous Georgian area. At 2:00 pm join a local guide on a city center tour to see public buildings such as Trinity College, General Post Office and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. End with a visit to Kilmainham Gaol where many of Ireland’s leaders, including Robert Emmett, Eamon DeValera and Padraig Pearse, were imprisoned during the 19th and early 20th centuries while striving to create an independent nation. The tour shows how penal systems operated in times past. In the evening meet your fellow travelers over a welcome drink and your tour guide will assist you in selecting a restaurant.
Day 3 Megalithic Tombs & Abbey Tavern
This morning visit the Boyne Valley Visitor Centre to learn about the passage burial tombs of Newgrange and Knowth, both over 5,000 years old. Tour one of the tombs to see how primitive people managed to align huge boulders precisely with the sun or the moon. Return to Dublin where the afternoon is free for you to take an open-top bus tour with a visit to Guinness or Jameson. In the evening drive to the Abbey Tavern for dinner with Irish specialties and an Irish Coffee followed by a lively show of music, songs and step-dancing. (B, D)
Day 4 Rock of Cashel & Titanic Walk
Head south to visit the Rock of Cashel, a stately limestone outcrop topped with medieval ruins. See the 12th century highly-decorated Cormac's Chapel, the large cathedral and a round tower. Continue to Cobh for a walking tour with a local historian to see places relating to the Titanic's last port of call. Drive to the Blarney Woollen Mills, offering excellent Irish-made products under one roof. If you wish, you may climb to the top of Blarney Castle independently before heading to your hotel Cork. Day 5 Bantry House & Killarney
Explore Kinsale, an old fishing port that is now popular for sailing and gourmet restaurants. Then discover the coast of County Cork with great scenery and cozy towns such as Clonakilty and Skibbereen. Visit Bantry House, a stately Georgian mansion built in 1740 to see furnishings collected from all around Europe and walk through the delightful gardens. Continue to Glengarriff, renowned for its palm trees, Kenmare and along part of the Ring of Kerry route via Moll's Gap to Killarney. (B, D)
Day 6 Dingle Peninsula Tour
Today discover the glorious Dingle Peninsula, made famous by two movies that showcased the scenery – “Ryan’s Daughter” and “Far & Away.” Drive along the south shore to admire views of heathery mountains, sandy stretches of beach and rocky headlands. Pause in Dingle before continuing to the Blasket Centre in Dunquin to learn about the offshore Blasket Islands, inhabited until 1953by hardy families who eked out a living by farming and fishing. Return to Killarney and enjoy free time to use the hotel’s leisure facilities or walk around town. After dinner you may like to visit the cozy pubs featuring live music. (B, D)
Day 7 Flying Boat Museum & Cliffs of Moher
Travel north to Foynes on the River Shannon Estuary to learn about the early days of flight at the Flying Boat Museum. This was the landing place for Pam Am Clippers from the United States and Europe. Drive to the village of Bunratty and look around Durty Nelly's Pub or the Bunratty Folk Park. Head to the coast to view the Cliffs of Moher, an impressive wall of rock that rises 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. Continue to Galway for a panoramic drive before checking in to your hotel, which overlooks Galway Bay. (B, D)
Day 8 Quiet Man Walking Tour & Conneamra
Drive to the village of Cong where “The Quiet Man” movie was made in 1952. A guided walk will show you places that featured in the production. Drive through Connemara for sweeping views of misty mountains and shimmering lakes. Stop briefly at Kylemore Abbey, a 19th century neo-Gothic mansion. Continue to Clifden, a delightful market town set between the Twelve Bens and sandy bays. In Moycullen watch skilled craftsmen cutting fine crystal at the Connemara Celtic Crystal Factory. (B, D)
Day 9 Yeats Grave & Belleek China
Travel through County Mayo to Knock Shrine, a popular place of pilgrimage and on to County Sligo to pause in Drumcliffe Churchyard at the grave of the writer, W. B. Yeats. Follow the shoreline of Donegal Bay to visit the Belleek Pottery Factory where craftspeople mold, shape and decorate clay, creating the world-famous fine china. Continue your drive through the majestic Barnesmore Gap to Derry. Enjoy free time to relax or take a walk before dinner. (B, D)
Day 10 Derry Walk & Giants Causeway
This morning join a local guide for a walking tour around the ancient city, which will include the Guildhall, St. Columb's Cathedral, the Diamond and 16th century city walls and visit the award-winning Tower Museum. Drive along the north coast, stopping for photos at the ruined Dunluce Castle and explore the Giant's Causeway, huge hexagonal basalt columns formed over 60 million years ago. The oversized rocks have given rise to many legends. Return to Derry for leisure time before dinner in your hotel. (B, D)
Day 11 Ulster Folk Park & Cabra Castle
Near Omagh visit the Ulster American Folk Park, which traces the story of Ulster emigrants and shows rural lifestyles in Ireland and Colonial America. See many cottages including the boyhood home of Thomas Mellon, who emigrated to Pittsburgh in 1818 and founded the Mellon Bank. Travel south to Kingscourt to arrive mid-afternoon so you may relax and enjoy the facilities at your castle hotel, built in 1760. After dinner in the Court Restaurant, youthful dancers display intricate Irish step-dancing. (B, D)
Day 12 Malahide Castle & Dublin at Leisure
Drive to a different Dublin hotel, and take an open-top bus tour. Stop off at various attractions throughout the city center. Also visit Guinness or Jameson, for a tour oftheir facilities and enjoy a complimentary drink. (B)
Day 13 Depart from Dublin Airport
Your hotel offers a shuttle service to Dublin Airport every two hours starting at 7:20 am. So choose a suitable transfer time to arrive at the airport to check in for your flight. If you need an earlier transfer, your tour escort will arrange one for you. (B)

CIE Tours Trip Cancellation Waiver Benefit*
When you purchase the CIE Tours Travel Protection Plan at time of initial Trip deposit, you also qualify for the CIE Tours Trip Cancellation Waiver. This benefit allows you to cancel your CIE Tours travel arrangements up to 3 days before your scheduled departure for any reason not covered by the Travel Protection Plan. Under this benefit, CIE Tours will refund the amount of your cancellation penalty in CIE Tours travel certificates, with the balance of the refund made in cash or by credit card. CIE Tours Travel Certificates are non-refundable, valid for one year from date of issue (but no later than 15 months from the date your Trip was canceled) and may not be redeemed for cash. The waiver does not cover the single room supplement charge that is applicable if one person cancels from a twin room, which then becomes a single room. CIE Tours requires written notice of cancellation during normal business hours. This benefit covers only those arrangements purchased from CIE Tours. For cancellations for covered reasons, see below.
Trip Cost - Pre-Departure Trip Cancellation
Your own or that of a Traveling Companion or an Immediate Family Member - or for Other Covered Events, as defined, you will be reimbursed up to the Trip cost for cancellation charges imposed on travel arrangements provided by CIE Tours and/or an airline providing direct air flight to and from your scheduled land tour departure and return cities (even if the flights are not booked by CIE Tours), provided the flights are within 7 total days of the land tour dates.
Trip Cost - Post-Departure Trip Interruption
If you must interrupt your Trip after departure due to a covered Injury, Sickness or Death - your own or that of a Traveling Companion or an Immediate Family Member - or for Other Covered Events, as defined, you will be reimbursed for the unused, non-refundable land arrangements and the additional transport costs to return Home or to rejoin your Trip (limited to economy one-way airfare or first class, if original tickets were first class).
Trip Cost – Delayed Arrival
You are reimbursed for the additional transportation expense incurred and/or the unused, non-refundable land arrangements if your arrival on your tour is delayed beyond your scheduled arrival date, because of delay or cancellation by an air carrier due to inclement weather, mechanical breakdown or organized labor strike.

Provides benefits up to $100 per day for reasonable additional hotel accommodations, meals, telephone calls, and local transportation until travel becomes possible if you are delayed for more than 12 hours due to a covered reason such as common carrier delay; Injury, Sickness or Death of you or your Traveling Companion; quarantine; loss of passport, travel documents or money; natural disaster; or road closure by a government authority due to adverse weather conditions.
$25,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment
These benefits are paid if loss occurs within 365 days of a covered Injury which occurs while on a CIE Tours Trip.
$100,000 Medical Expense/Emergency Assistance
Provides reimbursement for reasonable and customary medical expenses incurred within 365 days of a covered sickness which occurs while on your trip and for emergency dental treatment received during your trip; for the costs of emergency transport to home or an appropriate hospital, including escort expense (both, if deemed necessary by the attending physician), for a covered Injury or Sickness which occurs while on your trip; or the cost of homeward carriage if deceased.
$2,000 Baggage and Personal Effects
Coverage for direct physical loss or damage to your Baggage, passport or visas while on your Trip. A $500 maximum limit applies to jewelry; gems; watches; cameras and camera equipment; digital or electronic equipment; and furs - a $250 per article limit applies to all other items.
$250 Baggage Delay
If, while on your Trip, your Baggage is delayed for 24 hours or more, we will reimburse you up to $250 for the purchase of necessary additional clothing and personal articles. *CIE Tours Trip Cancellation Waiver Benefit is not available for groups of 15 or more.

DEPOSIT PAYMENTS
A non-refundable deposit of $250 per person, a payment in full on the airfare & a payment in full on the insurance is required for coach tours. Deposits are required within 4 days of making the reservation. Full payment is required to purchase your airline tickets.
FINAL PAYMENTS
Full payment must be made no later than 70 days prior to departure date. We accept payment by check or major credit cards. If payment is not received as scheduled, your reservation will automatically cancel and deposit payment become forfeit.
TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN
Available for $99 or upwards per person, depending on the price of your tour. Permits you to cancel your trip for any reason at any time prior to departure up to 3 days before your scheduled departure. Within 3 days of you departure, you may only cancel for a covered reason such as illness. Under this benefit, you will be will refunded the amount of your cancellation penalty in travel certificates. You would be able to redeem these vouchers for a future trip. The balance of the refund would be made in cash. This plan also protects you and your belongings while on your trip.
LATE BOOKINGS
Tours booked between 30 & 14 days prior to departure date may incur a late fee of US$50.00 per reservation in addition to overnight delivery charges where necessary.
PARTICIPANT CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be advised in writing (by mail, fax or e-mail) to Authentic Ireland Travel prior to tour departure during normal business hours (9:00 am to 4:00 pm EST, Mondays through Fridays). Cancellations received within 70 days of departure date are subject to the following penalties on the land portion:
