Gol boasts a vibrant and varied landscape, with forest-clad valleys and splendid high mountain areas with beautiful views to Jotunheimen, Hallingskarvet, and Hemsedal. The region is intertwined with great mountain roads and trails, making it ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and horse-riding in the summer.
