You’ve finally arrived.


Arrived into the capital city of the United Kingdom, surrounded by a vast amount of history, beauty, fashion and urban English culture all wrapped into about 610 square miles known as the “Greater London” region. As small as the city made seem within your pocket map, the historical architecture will start to tell you otherwise. So what is the best route to check off multiple bucketlist items you may have? Here are 5 things we think you should do on your first day sightseeing in London:

1. The Tower of London

Known as Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress, this historic castle plays a large part in London’s history and was used as a prison for quite some time. Now home to the Crown Jewels of England, the Tower of London is one of the country’s most popular attractions in London.

2. The London Bridge

After absorbing some medieval English history, take a short walk to the London Bridge, where you can not only witness it’s unique colors, but also do a majority of London sightseeing from this point via. the Hop-on/Hop-off Bus Tours. Grab a Bite to eat and hop on the red line to see sights such as the Piccadilly Circus, Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square. After cruising around London for a little while, think about taking a walking tour around London!

  • Hop on the Hop-On/Hop-Off Bus Ride

4. Buckingham Palace

This 775-room palace is a must-see while visiting London. The Buckingham palace history is outstanding; served as the official London residence for Britain’s sovereigns. See Buckingham Palace guards and their horses in front of the home, as well as beautiful landscaping maintained constantly in the front. Who knows, you may even see The Queen if you’re lucky!

The London Eye produces some of the most amazing sights of London at night, and is a once in a lifetime experience. Fairly inexpensive as well, this tourist attraction in London is one for the books, and the bucketlist!
