A FABULOUS TRIP!We just returned from 12 days in Ireland and we all agreed, it was the trip of a lifetime! We had 6 people in our group and we chose the luxurious private chauffeur tour. What a great decision! With Lonna’s expertise, we were able to map out a route that took us to all the places we wanted to visit. Our driver Mark Ryan was the absolute best!! He was extremely knowledgeable of Irish history and folklore which enhanced our tour greatly. He even knew the places we’d like best for lunch! He was very accommodating of our needs and interests and was particularly mindful of my husband who has mobility issues. Lonna’s guidance and recommendations on our hotel and castle stays was invaluable. All of our hotels and reservations for activities went very smoothly and the breakfasts were scrumptious. We love the Irish people who struck a heartfelt chord in all of us!A big Thank You! to Authentic Ireland and Mark for the best trip ever and a wonderful Fáilte Ireland!!(I’ve already recommended Authentic Ireland to two other interested parties!)

Ireland self tour

We just did 8 day self tour of Ireland. Alaina did a great job from first contact of knowing we wanted to go to Ireland but not much more. She worked many options throughout the months leading up to our trip. We needed hotels with a/c which is not easy in Ireland and she found them in the towns we wanted to see. Gave great ideas on sights to see between towns. Upon arrival in Dublin and walking to rental car checkin and said oh yes your are all set I knew that it would be a good trip. All of our hotels were easy check-ins, our dinner show no issues. I know she did a lot of work to make sure all was right for our trip, plus saved us not having to put a large deposit with rental car dept. Also say thanks to all the other people in office who would answer questions when I called, always took time to fully explain issues I might have. Thank you for a great family vacation.

Great trip! I told Lauren what things each of my kids wanted to see and she arranged everything and was so helpful with last minute changes. Stayed in Dublin and Galway and went on a couple of day tours. The weather was perfect! Beautiful sunny 72 degrees! Accommodations were great. We've gone through other travel agencies in the past where the accommodations left a lot to be desired. Will need to go back to see the rest of the country!

Amazing Trip!

Your Hometown: Tennessee

My husband and I went to Ireland for our honeymoon because it was something different to do and we have always wanted to go. This trip was amazing! We got to pick everywhere we wanted to go and how long we wanted to be in each town. We got to see things that we would never have known about due to their suggested sightseeing. Easily our favorite trip so far! I loved using this agency so much, I am booking our `1 year anniversary trip to Scotland!

This was our first trip to Scotland but it won’t be our last. It was perfect in every way. Megan did a wonderful job of listening to what we wanted and all of our accommodations were fabulous. We had no hassles w/ rental car. We got to see things at our own pace. We got to meet some wonderful people along the way.

Ireland 14-day Self-drive

My Husband and I have just returned June 6th from a wonderful 14 day self drive vacation in Ireland, which we were not ready to end. His 4th trip to Ireland my first trip. Many thanks to Lauren Ghadiri for planning our great stays in mixed accommodations in B&B’s, Manor houses and a few Castle hotels. All came with fabulous breakfasts to start our day off. Shealia at the Falshea House near Killarney was a great hostess. We started our trip from Shannon going counter clockwise to Cork, stayed at the Fitzpatrick in Kilkenny near Dublin, on to Trim, then the beautiful midevel castle hotel Abbeyglen in Clifden, Connemara. Ended our stay at B&B in Ennis. All the accommodations were impeccable. The weather was great with lots of sunshine, the countryside was absolutely breath taking, and learning how to drive on the left side of the road was a lot of fun….we brought our own GPS loaded with an Irish chip. A must! We never once got lost! Thanks again Lauren for the great planning!

Absolutely no problems with booking and payments. Excellent choice of accommodation.Future customers should be aware that the location sites for the program are remote and sometimes difficult to get to by car even using GPS coordinates. Also the drop-off for the car has a shuttle bus for luggage and passengers. It is very difficult to find as well.Otherwise an amazing trip, would book again.

Wonderful Trip To Ireland

Your Hometown: Sitges, Spain

We returned home from 12 days traveling through the Wild Atlantic Way, and Dublin. We had the most amazing travels with beautiful sites, friendly people wonderful music and tasty food and of course beer. The travels were made easy going with this wonderful company. Jocoya took all the worries and hazels of traveling away. From the moment we landed and got our Hertz rental car to the hotels the itinerary she helped us with everything went without problems. She arranged some tours we did not expect but turned out to be quite fun and helped make the trip even more special. The hotels, for the most part, were in great locations with friendly staff and wonderful breakfast each morning. In Dublin, we stayed at the Academy Plaza in a great spot to tour Dublin. I must say the rooms were very tiny but the staff was wonderful and I want to say thank you to them in this as we left a piece of baggage when we left for the airport and they went beyond helpful to get it back to us. It is the little things that make a company better and we felt working with Authentic Vacations helped us enjoy our time in Ireland so much more, we will return next year to do the northern part and will not hesitate to call Jocoya once more to help with our itinerary. Thank you Jay and Jacki Witlen

Another great vacation

Although this was our fourth trip to Ireland, this may well have been the one that truly stands out. The weather was unbelievable, accommodations superb, and sightseeing was spectacular. We had 7 family members in our group and chose the chauffeur driven tour for the Ireland part of our trip. We couldn’t have had nicer, more knowledgeable drivers if we handpicked them. We learned more about Ireland’s history, it’s people, and customs this trip than we learned in the other trips combined. They also took us on side trips that they thought we would enjoy, and they were right. They gave us such great memories and opportunities for beautiful pictures that we will never forget. I would recommend Authentic Ireland to anyone looking for an unforgettable trip to Ireland or the UK. I also highly recommend our drivers, John Riney and Wayne O’Sullivan, and will request them on future trips. Some members of our group went on to spend a week in Aberfeldy, Scotland in a beautiful cottage with a rental car. This, too, was a wonderful trip with beautiful weather and gorgeous scenery. Thank you Authentic Ireland, John and Wayne, for a very special vacation!

Our first trip to Ireland was something memories are made of. The only hiccup we had was the rental car and miscommunication on where to pick it up. All of the places we stayed were fantastic, but by far AbbyGlen was my favorite the room we had was something out of a fairy tale and the staff at every place bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful.

One tip, be prepared if you are driving yourself. The roads are "interesting" if you've never been there, especially the smaller roads. Google maps is your friend! Tip two, get the hotspot for internet! It worked fantastic for us even though most of the hotels had free internet, we found our hotspot worked the best.

Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful Scotland

We had an amazing time in one of the most beautiful countries we've ever been in. Every day was well planned and different. We were able to park and walk to town every afternoon. A few of our b and bs were dated and small but overall everything met our expectations. I could spend a week on the northern Isle of Skye!

Authentic Ireland did the planning and we enjoyed every minute of the trip. The Hotels were fantastic. The tours that they set up for us were enjoyed by the whole group. The nailed the timing required in each destination city for us to tour and enjoy our time. They could not have made it easier for us - I would definitely recommend using Authentic Ireland.

Ey wife and I just returned from our first trip to Ireland. Alaina with Authentic Ireland made this trip a breeze. We had an amazing time and are already planning a trip back next year with the kids and their spouses. I’ve been to a lot of countries and to be honest found the Irish locals we met to be some of the absolute friendliest peeople we have ever encountered. Our trip to Ireland was magical! Jocoya heard my heart and mapped out the perfect itinerary for us. The B&Bs she booked for us were perfect - both in their hospitality/accommodations and in location to our destinations. There was enough flexibility in our schedule to explore spontaneously, but with enough structure and planning to make us feel secure navigating our first international trip. I will treasure the memories of this trip, from petting lambs to boating beneath the Cliffs of Moher to chatting like old friends with locals at the pub, for the rest of my life!

12 Days in Ireland

byEdward LambBlank Business Name

Hi Lauren,

Thank you so much for working with us to make our 12 day Ireland visit a memory for a lifetime. For the most part our hotel accommodations were great. We thoroughly enjoyed the Butler House in Kilkenny was very nice, centrally located and friendly. One of our favorites was the Acton Hotel in Kinsale right in the bay. The 2 nights stay at the Lake House in Killarney had spectacular views and very comfortable. One night at The Roadford House in Doolin was cute, beds were a little lacking but the warmth and service of its owner made up for that. The two day stay at the Eyre Square Hotel in Galway was adequate but I think next time we would uograde to Meyrick.
Next was the 3 days at the Europa in Belfast....definitely our most favorite. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, outstanding Piano Bar lounge floor where we entertained 15 people, central location, good food. And finally, the Ashling Hotel in Dublin. Room was comfortable, up to date, good breakfast and bar area.

Overall a very successful trip. Adequate parking found in all locations. Enjoyed driving over 1350 miles in our standard shift Scorda, primarily along all coastal roads.

I do appreciate your willing to work with us as we later added my brother and wife, and my sister and her husband to the trip later. Being able to stay innall the same places made for a great time.

We definitely will use your company for our next trip to Ireland.

An unforgettable experience

We returned from our trip to Ireland, planned by Megan, and we were absolutely floored. Every part of it was memorable, from the hawk walk to the beautiful country side. My only negative was our leg in Ennis was not great as there was a hurling match so the streets were packed, nothing was open, and our hotel waited 1 1/2 hours to check us in as they literally forgot about us. Beyond that, everything else was picture perfect and we are already planning on when to go next.

What a wonderful vacation!

This is our first time going with a travel agency, and we are so spoiled now. Everything was set up for us, and Jocoya left enough flexibility in the schedule for us to .go with the flow during the actual trip. We got to see the sites we wanted while also adding our own activities (hiking, distilleries).

We had asked for a Budget trip, and it definitely was that. Every B&B/hotel we stayed in was clean, the people/hosts were kind and the food was good. There was also no attitude from picking the budget option, and that was appreciated. Only piece of advice would be to double-check the flight options as you might get cheaper flights elsewhere - Peter and I ended up booking flights separately.

Would definitely book another trip with Authentic Ireland!
