Scotland is a country abundant with history, beauty and culture.  There are a variety of things to do in Scotland to fully experience this unique region of the world and we have outlined our best-selling activities in this section. When most people think of Scotland, they think of kilts, bagpips and Scotch Whiskey and you can expect to experience plenty of these cultural staples on your Scotland vacation.  Many of our Authentic Scottish experiences include distilleries.  One is the Dewar Aberfeldy Distillery tour which not only guides you on an interactive exhibition throughout the factory but also gives you a tasting of six iconic Dewars varieties.    The Scotch Whiskey Experience is located in the heart of Edinburgh within walking distance of Edinburgh Castle and includes an education in the production of Scotch Whiskey and some tastings too.If you’re into a different kind of spirits, there are more macabre things to do in Scotland.  The Ghostly Underground Walking Tour is a dramatic day tour that takes you on a creepy adventure around the dark alleys and ancient buildings of Old Edinburgh.  As you meander through the gloomy chambers of the Old town, a cloaked guide reveals true stories and gruesome secrets that you won’t be so quick to forget.    The Loch Ness and Highlands tour is another great option for those drawn to the darker side of Scotland.  This day tour takes you on a hunt for the notorious loch ness monster but not before exploring the picturesque region of Scotland’s beautiful Highlands.
