Travel Insurance PricesInsurance prices are based on your age and the total cost of your trip. If you would like your policy to cover your airline tickets as well, you will need to add the price of your tickets onto the total price of your vacation package.**Please note: you may choose to include coverage for your airline tickets even if you purchased independently.
Above rates do not include a $7 service fee. Pricing available up to $100,000 trip cost. Coverage must be purchased at least 24 hours prior to departure. All travelers listed on this plan must reside at the same address. If any travelers reside at a different address, a separate plan must be purchased. Must insure all prepaid, non-refundable portions of your trip. If you have a pre-existing medical condition, please carefully read the relevant paragraphs towards the end of this page.*Only applicable if there are no prepaid, non-refundable trip costs.
Trip Cost : Trip CancellationProtects your travel investment if you cancel your trip for a covered reason.

$750 Trip DelayReimburses you up to $150 a day for additional accommodations or travel expenses if you are delayed for more than 5 consecutive hours.
$1,000: Lost, Stolen or Damaged Baggage & Travel DocumentsReimburses you if your luggage is lost, damaged, or stolen while you are on your trip.
$300: Baggage DelayReimburses you for the purchase of essential items if your bags are delayed for more than 12 hours.
$25,000 Medical ExpensesCovers necessary medical expenses up to one year after the sickness or injury, provided you sought initial medical treatment while on your trip.
$500,000 Emergency Medical Evacuation and/or Repatriation of RemainsCovers evacuation and transportation to the nearest adequate medical facility, and/or home.
$10,000 Accidental Death or DismembermentPays for loss of life or limb if it occurs within 365 days of an accident during your Trip.
Identity Theft (Not Available to NY Residents)If your identity is stolen during your Trip, our emergency travel counselors will assist in contacting your credit card companies, monitoring your credit report and working with local authorities to help you restore your identity.

Pre-Existing Medical Condition ExclusionTravel Guard International will not pay for any loss or expense incurred as the result of an Injury, Sickness or other condition of an Insured, Traveling Companion, Business Partner, or Family Member which, within the 180 day period immediately preceding and including the Insured’s coverage effective date: (a) first manifested itself, worsened or became acute or had symptoms which would have prompted a reasonable person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment; (b) for which care or treatment was given or recommended by a Physician; (c) required taking prescription drugs or medicines, unless the condition for which the drugs or medicines are taken remains controlled without any change in the required prescription drugs or medicines.
PRE-EX EXCLUSION WAIVERTravel Guard International will waive the pre-existing medical condition exclusion if the following conditions are met:1. This plan is purchased within 15 days of making the Initial Trip Payment;2. The amount of coverage purchased equals all prepaid, non-refundable payments or deposits applicable to the Trip at the time of purchase, and the cost of any subsequent arrangement(s) added to the same Trip are insured within 15 days of the date of payment or deposit for any subsequent Trip arrangement(s);3. All Insured’s are medically able to travel when plan cost is paid.
